  • Science talk, Nanomaterials for tomorrow, perspectives from Sweden and South Korea. Nov 11, 15:30-17:30 pm, in Grand conference room, Seoul National University. Speakers: Dr. Lars Hultman, Dr. Howon Jang, Dr. Hyobin Yoo, Moderator: Dr. Lars Hammarström.

  • Introduction to the Horizon Europe funding programme, Nov 12, 9-10.30 am, in Future Hall, Korea University. History of Horizon Europe and the EU funding landscape in research and innovation, Korean perspectives on Horizon Europe and a researcher’s panel. Hosted by KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Vinnova and Karolinska institutet.

  • Bold and innovative research in an unpredictable world: A round-table dialog on the importance of science and international collaboration for the future of our society. Nov. 12, 11 am-12.15 in Future Hall, Korea University. Participants: Lars Hultman (CEO, SSF - Swedish Strategic Research Foundation), Lars Strannegård (President, Stockholm School of Economics), Andreas Göthenberg (Executive Director, STINT – Swedish Foundation for Internationalization of Research and Higher Education), Jenny Wanselius (Head of EU-department, Vinnova), Jin Park (Former Minister of Foreign Affairs, South Korea), Jung-Hye Roe (Former NRF president, South Korea) Moderator: Tina Murray (Senior International Advisor – KTH).

  • Nobelsymposium. Nov. 12, 13:30-17 pm in Global conference hall, Korea University. The nobelprizes in medicine, chemistry, physics, economics and literature will be presented by Swedish and Korean speakers, followed by a panel discussion. Hosted by the Swedish embassy in South Korea.

  • Practical session about the Horizon Europe funding programme, Nov. 14, 13:30-17 pm, in Auditorium 5F, at Seoul National University. Topics that will be brought up include an overview of pillar II in the Horizon Europe programme, the Korean NCP system, proposal development, and how to build your network. The session is targeted at researchers interested in EU-funding. Hosted by KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Karolinska institutet.

Registration

Registration was open until October 27. Most parts of the programme is open for invitation only. It is essential that participants in WP 1, 2 and 3 participate in all work package sessions Monday until Thursday. Please also take the opportunity to network and arrange individual meetings on Friday, October 15. A few sessions are open sessions.
